Goddess Got Goals
Goddess Got Goals is a podcast for women in midlife who feel tired of pushing, pretending, and holding it all together — and know, deep down, that something is ready to change.
Hosted by Lisa Barwise, Wellness Alchemist and author of Unarmoured, this show explores what it really means to soften, heal, and return to yourself after years of over-giving, people-pleasing, and carrying invisible armour. Through honest personal stories, nervous system wisdom, energy psychology, sacred strength, and practical magic, each episode invites you to stop fighting your body and start listening to it.
This isn’t about discipline, reinvention, or becoming someone new.
It’s about safety before strength, compassion before consistency, and learning how to live — and lead — from a regulated, embodied place.
This is the Warrior Goddess SAGA.
Not the rise before the fall — but the rise after you come home to yourself.
Because Goddess Got Goals.

The Goddess Got Goals podcast is back for Season 5 and we are focusing on your wellness goals over 40.
Let’s start with …
What is Wellness? Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental health outcomes, so that instead of just surviving, you're thriving.
Health refers to a state where the physical body is free from disease, while wellness refers to an overall balance of a person's physical, social, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, environmental and occupational well-being.
“Wellness is a state of action, not a state of being”
Factors that influence wellness
- happy intimate relationship with a partner.
- network of close friends.
- enjoyable and fulfilling career.
- enough money.
- regular exercise.
- nutritional diet.
- enough sleep.
- spiritual or religious beliefs.
Importance of Wellness is crucial in preventing and managing chronic illnesses, reducing stress and anxiety, improving cognitive function, and increasing productivity. It also promotes healthy relationships, enhances self-awareness, and encourages personal growth and development.
So this Wellness Alchemist is back for Season 5 of the GGG podcast and we are going to be focusing on topics that are coming up from our community most often- dealing with consistency, overwhelm and burnout, neurodivergence with perimenpoause challenges, pain and aches and weight gain, post menopause living for our over 60s, plus what you should eat and why, living a long and healthy life and of course why strength training with kettlebells is going to change, transform and save your life.
Remembering that Wellness is a state of ACTION, not a state of being.
Plus we are bringing back our Tuesday 15 min tip episodes spilling the T with Top Tip Tuesdays.
And launching the GGG Book Club!
